Empowering women and girls, preparing them for a brighter future.

Journey Towards Success

Sisters Here 2 Empower (SHE) was founded with a shared vision and a deep-rooted commitment to women's empowerment by two extraordinary individuals, Kimberly Douglas and Jessica Cathcart. Long-time best friends, they forged an unbreakable bond through the shared experiences of facing and conquering challenges as women. Both having overcome personal hurdles and recognizing the transformative power of support, resilience, and community, they envisioned a platform that would give back and uplift those who faced similar struggles.

Driven by their unwavering friendship, coupled with a passion for fostering empowerment, Kim and Jessica embarked on a mission to create positive change. SHE stands as a testament to their determination to make a meaningful impact on the lives of women, echoing the spirit of overcoming obstacles and empowering others in their journey towards success.

EmpowerHer: Mentoring for Teen Girls

Pathways To Empowerment

SHE creates a memorable evening that brings together women for all walks of life. The event is a celebration of achievements, resilience, and the shared commitment to empower one another. Distinguished speakers share inspiring stories and attendees have the opportunity to connect and build a network.

Annual Holiday Giving: Support for Communities

Every holiday season, SHE witnesses an outpouring of generosity and compassion. Families led by single mothers receive an abundance of support, from essential items to things their hearts desire. Our families are guaranteed the opportunity to celebrate the season with both joy and dignity.

“I have chosen to no longer be apologetic for my femaleness and my femininity. And I want to be respected in all of my femaleness because I deserve to be.”

— Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
